Pokemon Puzzle League is based around Puzzle Village which is basically your main menu where you choose which mode you want to play. This page will go through all the different modes available in the game.

~Prof. Oak's Lab
This is where you start, Professor Oak will go through how to play the game, you do nothing but sit back and watch the tutorial.

~Mimic Mansion
Yet another tutorial mode that teaches you the game basics but in futher detail and more advanced techniques. Another major difference between Mimic Mansion and Oak's Lab is you are required to get involved rather then just watching. Tracey and his Marill are the hosts of this location and once you get the hang of things will take you to Super Easy Mode which is a basic puzzle you need to solve.

~1P Stadium
This is the main mode where you battle 16 different characters from Gym Leaders to rivals and Elite Four members. There are 5 different difficulty levels available and all puzzles are the standard 2D models.

~Puzzle University
This is where you have 230 different puzzles both 2D and 3D to solve but these puzzles require you to clear the whole screen in a limited amount of moves. You are also able to create your own custom puzzles here for yourself or others to play.

~Marathon
This mode allows you to firstly choose your difficulty level and puzzle style (2D or 3D) then allows you to play a never ending puzzle, you play until you lose or quit.

~Spa Service
This is a mini adventure mode where Team Rocket have stolen your Pokemon and you need to clear a variety of puzzles to a certain line in order to get them back. If you're lucky you may even encounter Butch and Cassidy or Giovanni.

~Time Zone
Time Zone requires you to clear the screen in a certain amount of time rather then with limited movements like in Puzzle University. There is the choice of difficulty level and 2D/3D puzzles.

~2P Stadium
This is where you go to play against a friend, you have a choice of either Marathon, Spa Service and Time Zone modes and can choose between 2D and 3D puzzles.

~Pokemon Center
This is the options menu and displays your file details like the amount badges you have and your high scores.
